Going Beneath the Surface, Together

I am a psychotherapist who is deeply interested in what happens beneath the surface of our conscious lives. I’m naturally drawn to understanding human suffering, hidden motives, and the psychological shadows we often struggle to see in ourselves.

Alongside my clinical work, I have been engaged in my own ongoing Jungian analysis since 2021. This rigorous inner work keeps me grounded, deepens my capacity to remain present with the complexity of the human experience, and informs how I listen for the dreams, archetypes, myths, shadows, and unconscious material that may emerge in therapy.

My own inner work has also taught me something equally important:

“We need compassion and a sense of safety to go deep.”

Meeting the unknown parts of ourselves can make us feel vulnerable. We are much more able to explore them when we feel respected, accompanied, and cared for.

This is why the therapeutic relationship is central to the way I work. I don’t see myself as the expert who tells you what to do, but rather as a guide who accompanies you through your unique journey. We work in partnership. I bring my clinical expertise to help guide the process while also being an anchor when you are navigating your own emotional storms.

MY PHILOSOPHY

[ We Are More Than What We Consciously Know ]

We naturally experience ourselves through the part of the mind that says, “I.”

I know who I am.
I know what I want.
I know what I believe.
I understand why this happened.

And yet, our conscious understanding is only one part of our psychological life.

There are ancestral histories, memories, unresolved trauma, protective responses, internalized beliefs, desires, conflicts, and capacities that may operate outside our immediate awareness.

A reaction feels much stronger than the present situation seems to warrant.

A particular person evokes an immediate attraction or aversion.

We repeat a relationship pattern we promised ourselves we would never repeat.

A dream remains vivid long after waking.

Our body reacts before our rational mind has had time to make sense of what is happening.

Or we hear ourselves say something and wonder:

Where did that come from?”

I am interested in the unconscious because its influences can quietly shape how we experience ourselves and the world, how we make decisions, and even the beliefs and patterns that gradually take form in our lives. At the same time, the unconscious can also offer us profound resources, strength, and wisdom that help us realize our potential.

[ Living authentically is central to well-being ]

It means understanding who we are and making choices that reflect our values, needs, and deeper sense of self. But in real life, it is often much more complicated. Human life is complex and difficult, filled with paradoxes and an inclination toward self-deception. In a culture that places so much emphasis on productivity and achievement, it is easy to become consumed by daily responsibilities and lose touch with the inner voice that offers direction and meaning.

I believe authenticity develops through connection—connection with our bodies, emotions, inner spirit, relationships, values, and nature. Healing often involves restoring connections that have been interrupted, neglected, or lost.

WHO I WORK WITH

You do not need to know exactly what is wrong before coming to therapy.

Sometimes the work begins with a much simpler feeling:

Something in me is asking for attention.

WHAT OUR WORK MAY INCLUDE

EMDR
Healing What Remains Unresolved

When you understand something intellectually but your body and emotions still respond as if the past is present, EMDR can help us work with traumatic memories, triggers, and deeply held beliefs so they can be processed more fully.

Dreamwork
Listening To The Unconscious

Dreams can offer another way of encountering our inner life. We may explore images, feelings, symbols, and your own associations. We will not impose a fixed interpretation, but to become curious about what your psyche may be expressing.

Evolutionary Astrology
Listening For Your Deeper Calling

For clients who are interested in evolutionary astrology. We can incorporate it into therapy as a symbolic lens for exploring recurring patterns, life themes, and questions of meaning. I do not offer prediction or stand-alone chart readings, instead, we may draw on your chart when it supports the therapeutic work.
